Hi, my name is Adriane Sell. I am the owner of Sandy Paws: Dog Walking and Boarding. We provide exceptional care for all kinds of animals. Sandy Paws has been operating here in Northeast Florida for approximately a year.
I personally have over ten (10) years of experience caring for animals and have grown up my whole life with them.
At Sandy Paws: Dog Walking and Boarding, your pet is not just a walk or a visit. They are FAMILY!!!
My name is Allison Bush, and I am a pre-veterinary biology student at the University of Central Florida. I am in the Lead Scholars program and am Head Squire of the Pegasus Mascot Team, so I get to work with our live mascot that goes on the field before football games! I am an avid animal lover and also work at a vet office so I am keen on giving medication to animals. I have grown up fostering for Labrador Retriever Rescue of Florida and have rescued over 75 labs in the last ten (10) years. I have a hedgehog, a dog and a horse.

This option applies to pet sitting. Your sitter will come an additional time during one of the time slots given above. This is ideal for pets kept in a crate during the day and will give them the opportunity to get some extra fresh air and stretch their furry legs. This additional time must be added on at least 24 hours prior to desired add-on.
This entails stopping by your home for 15 minutes and letting your pet out in your own yard. This is ideal for pets that don’t need walked, just need let out and/or only given food/medicine once a day.
If your furry friend prefers to cuddle with someone at night we offer overnight pet sitting in our home. This is for clients who want their pet safe while they are away, but do not necessarily need the sitting to occur in their home. (Up to 1 pet, $5/additional pet)
We also offer overnight pet sitting in your home for clients who not only want their pet cuddled at night and safe while they are away, but their home safe as well. (Up to 2 pets, $5/additional pet)
A $5 pick-up fee plus an additional $0.55/mile from pick-up location.
Basic: Bath ($10) Deluxe: Bath, Nail Trimming, Ear Cleaning ($17), De-Shedding Treatment ($17) and Just Nail Trimming ($7) *We will not trim or bathe your dog if known to be aggressive or needing muzzled during these services.
We offer specialty, daily pet sitting in our home environment that helps to give your furry family member a fun-filled and loving day as opposed to being home alone while you are at work. This service includes play time, walks throughout the day, feedings, medication distribution, and most importantly snuggles. On average, Doggy Daycare is provided for a maximum of twelve (12) hours. *All pets must be up-to-date on shots. Documentation required.
All services require a 24 hour notice.
Dog walking requires a cancellation notice by 6:00 PM the business day prior to scheduled service.
If you were highly satisfied with your sitter or dog walker it is suggested to tip them 10% of the total bill. This is merely a suggestion and not a requirement. You can either tip them at time of service or include it in your check/money order. We will gladly pass on your generosity to your sitter.
Any non-holiday vacations of three (3) days or longer will require a one (1) night deposit to hold the dates on the calendar.
Due to the high demand of pet sitting requests during holiday times, any vacations that fall during holiday dates need to be paid in full once the meet and greet has taken place and it is definite that the vacation dates would like to be held on the calendar.
I have been a client of SandyPaws since May 2017 from the date I purchased my puppy., Derby a Cavalier King Charles. Hopefully Adrian will upload some pictures of him, since she takes a lot more than I do, lol. Adrian and her staff are not only reliable, but go over and above putting my puppy first and foremost in the most loving ways. Most recent example, I have on several occasions left the top lock bolted when I use the garage to enter my residence so therefore Adrian was not able to get into visit Derby ( puppy). She took it upon herself to go to my apartment lease office and get a garage remote so she could get into see Derby and made arrangements with the leasing staff to go to the office and get my garage remote if she needs it. She is very resourceful, kind, clever , knowledgeable and trustworthy. Adrian is also a nurse, and I have called her numerous times asking her advice on his puppy adventures and illness. I called her crying after his first round of vaccinations as he cried and had this large lump on his backside. Not only did she walk me through with directions, but called and was concerned about him. She also walked me through a cat that scratched his eye, and reviewed text photos of his eye and called me to tell me signs to look for if an infection was developing. I also have this thing about putting weight on him, he was only 4lbs when I got him, and I’m also overly concerned that he’s too skinny, he’s not as Adrian told me., lol! I also recently had to go to Tampa to care for my mom that had emergency heart surgery, and she picked Derby up right away. I never worry about Derby when he is in her care. Her company and her staff treat us like we are family. I feel like Derby loves her just as much as he loves me. I have had three dogs, and lost my Cavalier King Charles last year. It took me a year to get another dog as I knew my dog's care when I was at work or away was my first priority. I did not want him going to a doggie day care and thrown into a kennel. I interviewed several candidates via the web and she just really nailed the initial interview. Give SandyPaws a try and I promise you will be very happy with your pets care. If you have any additional questions , please call me at 813-431-2395. Sandra (aka – Derby’s mom)

Adriane is great with my two boxer dogs. She seems to really care about them and knows how to read them well. She is great with walking them both together and even gives them a little extra play time if they still have energy. I would def recommend her. Kara G.
I LOVE Sandy paws!! What a godsend they have been to our family. I had horrible experiences with "boarding" and we were about to skip our vacation because of it. Tammy came to meet us and our very active chocolate lab and it was was love at first site for him! We had constant updates and the sweet pictures did so much to relive our fears about leaving him. When we got home our very happy dog kept looking for his new person! Tammy didnt hesitate to fix any issues that came up ( our fence had a loose slat and she immediately fixed it) what a joy to know that when we want to take a vaction Tammy and Sandy Paws will be there to take care of our beloved lab. Jennifer S.
I have been a client of Sandy Paws for almost three months now and couldn't be happier!! Adriane and Tammy are so sweet and my dogs just adore them. Getting Tammy's picture updates and seeing how much fun they are having makes my day when I'm stuck at work. Recently I had an emergency and Tammy dropped everything she was doing and rushed to my house to get my dogs and bring them to me. Because of Tammy and everyone at Sandy Paws, I can feel at ease going to work and knowing that someone I can truly trust is taking care of my babies. I highly recommend Sandy Paws!!! Jess (aka Fiona and Ginger's mom)
It was Tammy that met us for the first time and spent 45 minutes explaining how she got this position, and asked about what we expected. She and our German Shepherd got along great. We needed her to come mid-mornings to our energetic 6 year old, out for a walk for two weeks. She often drove him to the park for his walk. She sent us pics every day and assured us all was going well. I believe Tammy appreciated our preparation. We had a key made for her, she was aware that she was to feed him, but if she didn't sit with him he may not eat it. She had our vets name and phone number. I needed her to come walk our boy again this week and she was very willing to come by. Kay (aka - Fang's mom)
I am so glad to have these fine people caring for my big man while I’m away I know he’s in great hands. Jeremy (aka - Quinn’s dad)
Just want to say what a great job Tammy did looking after our zoo while we were away for 6 days. She did a great job communicating with us and texting pics of our dog, cats, aquariums and turtle. It was wonderful not to have to worry about them while on vacation. We will use your services in the future and would highly recommend you to anyone who is looking for someone to care for their pets. Thank you again so much Denis (aka The Zoo's daddy)
